Which tree is known as the Fairy Tree? What's the most magical timber for wands? Which tree species was planted to ward off evil spirits from homes and churches?
Find out all this and more on a 2hr leisurely walk exploring the folklore and myths of trees in Skipton Castle Woods on the eve of the Autumn Equinox. Starts at 15.30pm.
The walk finishes with a drink of meed by a fragrant pinewood camp fire.
The route includes steps and some uneven surfaces. Please dress for the weather - wicca and pagan dress most welcome.
